With XGA image output, and functions like auto focus and auto tune, the Ladybug DC-211 delivers excellent image quality with detailed pictures and crisp text. Even books with smaller fonts (six to eight point type) can still be viewed clearly on a screen.

Lumen’s trademark lamp and arm design eradicates the classic classroom dilemma of “lights on or off?” caused when the camera demands a well-lit document while the projector needs a dimly-lit setting. The unit’s dual-light sources provide even lighting that offers a clear image in dimly-lit environments. Teachers can readily adjust the light sources to create images without dark areas, glare or burn spots.

Flexible, Easy to Use

The Ladybug 211 allows educators to focus on the needs of students and the content of lessons rather than on operating equipment. The flexible gooseneck allows the teacher to easily show objects at different angles. With built-in memory, teachers can also capture pictures to create a slide show with just the press of a button. The Lumens FastSlide™ technology loads slides quickly to reduce wasted time. Using the credit card-sized remote control, teachers can easily control the most often used functions (such as auto tune, auto focus, image capture and slide show) from wherever they are standing. In this more natural environment, teachers can focus on students and on keeping the presentation of materials interesting and informative to capture the students' attention.

Stay Connected

With a VGA pass through plus a VGA output, the DC211 can be connected to both an external monitor and a projector simultaneously. An analog output for television and a USB 2.0 connect for PCs, Macs and interactive whiteboards further extend the connection options. The DC211 also offers an automatic wipe clean option, which allows users to choose to automatically erase internal memory after each use.  For schools that share equipment, this insures a clean start for each user.
