EZ-GO-AV™
Cart

EZ SET UP:

The cart is designed to manage
a complete
audio visual system.
The type of equipment you have
will determine the connections.
Simple equipment set up:
RCA or S/Video connections (analog video + audio)
DVD/VHS player, projector, computer/laptop, analog document camera.
The projector becomes the AV selector switch!
Connect the DVD/VHS S-video
output to the document camera's S-video AV input,
the audio output can be connected through the document camera
or directly to the speaker system.
Connect the document camera to
the projector's S-video input.
Connect the Computer VGA output
to the projector's VGA input.
Use the document camera as a S-video selector. Either pass thru the DVD/VHS
signal or use the live video from the camera. Select the S-video on the
projector.
OR, select the VGA video and project your computer presentation.
(ADD
an AV Selector switch: A mechanical 4 to 1 AV selector switch is inexpensive and
provides a choice of video selections. Connect the S-video outputs to the
switch, and the audio connections as well)
VGA / High Resolution Equipment
DVD/VHS player, Projector,
computer/laptop, high resolution digital document camera.
Connect the
computer VGA output into the document camera's VGA input.
Connect the document camera's VGA out into the projectors VGA
in. The document camera is the VGA switch!
Connect the DVD/VHS S-video out to the projector's S-video
in. Select the S-video input on the projector when playing the DVD/VHS.
The audio can pass through the document camera or be directly
connected to the speaker system.
(ADD a Video-VGA converter/switch, a
little more expensive but a lot more useful! These units require power, they
enhance the S-video to a VGA signal. Connect the VGA output from the document
camera to the VGA in on the switch. Connect the S-video from the DVD/VHS to the
S-video in. Connect the VGA out from the switch to the VGA in on the
projector.)
Priced from $89.00 to $400.00 depending on
complexity and source.
This setup allows a VGA selection at
the document camera, and a signal selection at the "TV-PC" converter
switch.
