Know More About Document Camera

"Seeing is Believing!" No need to waste valuable presentation time fiddling with that bulky overhead projector! Whether in the classroom, boardroom, or courtroom, today's presentations require far more functionality and clarity than can be accomplished with an overhead in order to be effective. Through AVerMedia digital document cameras and visual presenters, visual communication and interaction between the presenter and audience have never before provided more impact.

A typical document camera or a visual presenter uses a camera, commonly extended on a mounted arm, to capture images of text, 3D objects, 35mm slides and other transparencies, microscope slides, videoconferencing participants and just about anything else you can think of, and then sends these images to a monitor or projector for all to see. Instantly, you can place these images in front of an audience, or record and save images to be distributed or recalled later. Like a camcorder, it has handy features such as zoom, auto focus, and exposure adjustments. A light module illuminates when the room is poorly lit, while a built-in or plug-in light box illuminates 35mm file slides, x-rays or film negatives. Various output connections such as DVI, VGA, s-video and composite gives users the ability to display documents, 3-D objects, microscopic images, x-rays, negatives and photos on a large screen TV, monitor or projector.

Lawyers use document cameras or visual presenters. So do doctors, scientists, engineers and, of course, teachers to effectively present physical testimony to strengthen verbal ideas and interact with audiences. Science teachers are using a document camera for their routine demonstrations and, especially, for sharing their most minuscule subject matter with the help of the available microscope adapter.
